Our Staff

Because Happy Hands believes in providing the highest quality services to the children we serve, all of our staff are trained professionals. All of our teachers are degreed in Deaf Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education or Speech and Language Pathology. Our Assistant Teachers are certified and have years of experience working with children who are deaf or have communication disorders. We are proud of all our staff and their commitment to ministering to these children and their families.

We also have numerous committed volunteers that help us on a regular basis. We take classroom volunteers, lunch volunteers, office volunteers, etc. If you have even an hour, we can use you! For more information about volunteering, click here.

Jan Pride

Director

Director, Jan Pride, has a B.S. in Deaf Education from the University of Tulsa and holds a Bronze Level Director’s Credential from the Center for Early Childhood Professional Development.  Jan has served as a national accreditation commissioner for the Association of Christian Schools International, is a published author in early education publications, an early education and conference speaker, and is a SKI HI trained Parent Advisor for Oklahoma’s Project, ECCO.
