On August 28th, we held the GRAND OPENING of Deaf Christian Academy at Happy Hands (DCA)!
We welcomed the inaugural class of six students,1st through 3rd grade, to cut the ribbon on their first day of school!
The students and their parents, our Board of Directors, and our staff were THRILLED to help begin an exciting new chapter in Happy Hand's history.
Deaf Christian Academy is the only Christian school for the Deaf nationwide, that we have been able to find.
DCA will provide a bilingual education which promotes academic excellence, full proficiency in ASL and English(reading and writing), and most importantly a focus on Deaf students knowing and serving Christ.
Please be in prayer over DCA, the students and teachers, and the next steps as we continue to develop this incredible program.
